THE EASTER SEAL GUILD

The Easter Seal Guild has been a major supporter of Easter Seals Disability Services in the Sacramento area for many years. Established forty-six years ago by a woman named Gladys Scharpf, the Sacramento Guild was the first in the US and is a major reason why people with disabilities in our region have some of the best facilities and most proactive programs. The Easter Seal Guild has donated over $500,000 to enhance our Hurley Way campus and consumer programs.

Through the years the Guild has done numerous fund raisers including bake sales, fashion shows and their annual “Taste of the Vine”. They have raised money for Children’s Services, Transportation and a “state of the art” physical therapy program called SuitABILITY®.

In addition to raising funds the Guild helps raise community awareness. They are our ambassadors in the community and provided funds produce an Easter Seals marketing DVD highlighting our services and programs.

The Guild is a great group of caring people, dedicated to helping our community and people with disabilities. We would love to have you join us in our efforts to be a significant part of making the Easter Seals Vision a reality.

October 14^th – 13^th Annual “A Taste of Sacramento” Fundraiser – Volunteers Needed - $35/ticket for unlimited food, drink, entertainment and silent auction. Call (916) 979-6740 and get your tickets today!

Board of Directors

The Easter Seals Superior Board of Directors is a group of individuals from our community who donate their time and talent to help provide direction and advice, while setting the organizations overall policy objectives. They ensure that our organization fulfills our mission statement.

Board of Govenors

The Easter Seals Superior Board of Governors is a group of individuals from our community who donate their time and talent to help raise money and awareness for our cause.
