Jessie - Community Skills Trainer
I have been with the FILS Program since October of 2010. I was born and raised in Sacramento I moved to Turlock for school and graduated Summa Cum Laude from CSU Stanislaus in 2010 with a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor Criminal Justice. I enjoy traveling and watching the Sacramento Kings and the San Francisco Giants. I always knew that I wanted a career that involved helping people, and Easter Seals and the FILS Program is a great opportunity to do that. I love working with the people that we support, and that every day brings different challenges, which keeps the job exciting and fresh. I love that the FILS Program is making a difference in our consumer’s lives.

Linda - Community Skills Trainer
My name is Linda and I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. I have been in the medical field for almost 4 years now and I love everything about being able to help others and being there for them. I like putting a smile on their faces and making them feel like they are appreciated. I am pursuing my education in teaching children with special needs at American River College. I have been working for the FILS program since April of 2010 and every day I see it as a new opportunity to learn something new from the consumers as well as being able to assist them step by step in reaching their goals and being independent.

Rosaline - Core Instructor
I am Rosaline from Sierra Leone in West Africa. I graduated from Milton Margai College of Education and Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree (BED) in Educational Guidance and Counseling in 2003. I have worked for Easter Seals for almost three years. I enjoy working with the consumers because I love them and know how they feel since my sister is physically challenged. And as such, I am always willing and ready to help them live life to the fullest by gaining Functional Independent Living Skills.
